  4. Manual Testing: Conducted by QA team throughout development

Risk Mitigation

Risk Mitigation Strategy
Complex state management Allocate extra time for T4.1-T4.7, prioritize early in development
Data model complexity Conduct thorough design reviews before implementation
Performance with large datasets Implement pagination from the start, test with realistic data volumes
Tutorial content management Create efficient caching strategy, consider progressive loading
Integration challenges Schedule regular integration points throughout sprints

Dependencies and Critical Path

The critical path for the MVP consists of:

  1. Core data models (Sprint 1)
  2. Basic UI components (Sprint 2)
  3. Workout execution (Sprint 4)
  4. Performance recording (Sprint 5)
  5. History and statistics (Sprint 6)

Special attention should be paid to these components as delays will affect the overall timeline.

Definition of Done

For each task to be considered complete, it must meet the following criteria:

  1. Functionality implemented according to requirements
  2. Unit tests written and passing
  3. UI tests created for interface components
  4. Code reviewed by at least one other developer
  5. Accessibility requirements met

Post-MVP Planning

After completing the MVP, the following activities will be prioritized:

  1. User testing with real users from each persona category
  2. Performance optimization based on real-world usage
  3. Bug fixes and refinements
  4. Planning for Release 1.0 with Should-Have features

Conclusion

This implementation plan provides a structured approach to delivering the MVP of the fitness tracking application within a 12-week timeframe. By breaking down the Must-Have features into concrete tasks and organizing them into six 2-week sprints, the team can track progress and manage dependencies effectively.

The plan accounts for both functional and non-functional requirements, with appropriate time allocated for testing and risk mitigation. Regular integration points ensure that components work together as development progresses, reducing the risk of integration issues at the end of the development cycle.
